At Gills and Thrills Fishing Charters, we know plans can change — and we do our best to make cancellations and reschedules as simple as possible. Please read our policy below so there are no surprises on either end.

Customer Cancellations

• 7+ Days Notice: Cancellations made seven (7) or more days prior to your scheduled charter will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

• Within 7 Days: Cancellations made within seven (7) days of your scheduled trip may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

• Same-Day Cancellations or No-Shows: Trips canceled on the day of the charter or guests who do not show up will be charged in full.

We understand that emergencies happen — please reach out as soon as possible if you need to adjust your booking. We’ll always do our best to accommodate reschedules based on availability.

Weather-Related Cancellations

Your safety is our top priority.

• The captain reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a trip at any time due to unsafe weather or water conditions (such as storms, high winds, or lightning).

• If your trip is canceled due to weather, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund — whichever you prefer.

• Weather calls are made by the captain, typically the morning of the trip.

Late Arrivals

Trips depart on time unless otherwise communicated. Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled departure. Late arrivals that cut into trip time may not be extended, and refunds will not be issued for shortened charters.

Refunds

Refunds (when applicable) will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
